Who this policy is for

This policy applies to the mobile app Thai Alphabet published on the Apple App Store and Google Play by 北京艺初网络科技有限公司 (Beijing Yichu Network Technology Co., Ltd.), the developer and legal entity named on the app's store listing, and to this website. The app is published under localized titles in some countries; all of them refer to the same app and are covered by this policy.

Summary

• No account, no sign-in, no email address is required or collected.
• Your learning progress stays on your device. There is no cloud profile.
• The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob; a one-time purchase removes them.
• The only data you can choose to send us is an anonymous content-error report.

1. Information stored on your device

To let you pick up where you left off, the app saves the following in its own private storage on your device: letters practised and mastered, quiz results, streaks and achievements, favourites, custom lessons, reminder settings and interface preferences. This information never leaves the device, is not backed up to our servers and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

2. Advertising (free version)

The free version of the app displays banner, interstitial and app-open ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google's SDK may collect the advertising identifier of your device, coarse location derived from IP address, and app usage data such as which ads were shown or tapped. Google's handling of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

• Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before any ad is loaded; you can decline personalised ads or change your choice later from the Me tab.
• iOS tracking permission. On iPhone and iPad the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown but are not personalised across other companies' apps.
• Removing ads. A one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") turns off all advertising, after which the AdMob SDK is no longer initialised.

3. Purchases

The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The purchase state is stored on your device and can be restored on a new device with "Restore Purchase".

4. The optional "Report an error" form

Each letter page has a link that lets you tell us about a content mistake (for example a wrong sound or stroke order). Nothing is sent unless you submit the form. If you do, we receive the letter concerned, the category you chose, your optional note, the app version and the interface language. We do not receive your name, email address, device identifier or location. Reports are used only to correct the content and are deleted once handled.

5. Notifications

Learning reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are optional, can be switched off at any time in the Me tab, and no push server is involved.

6. Children

The app is made for adult learners and travellers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information through the error-report form, contact us and we will delete it.

7. This website

This website serves static pages and does not use cookies, analytics or advertising. The browser version of the practice app under /app/ stores your progress in your browser's local storage only.

8. Your rights and contact

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request; everything is on your device. For questions about this policy, or about data held by Google in connection with ads, write to zachsong@gmail.com. We reply within 48 hours.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published at this address with an updated date. Material changes are also mentioned in the app's release notes.
